Community Education's "Super Hero Training Camp - A Mother Son Event" will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Woodbury High School activity center, 2665 Woodlane Drive. "Superman" and "Batman" will make live appearances.

Organizers are looking for young men who believe they are "strong enough, brave enough and wise enough to be a real superhero" to test their skills at the "Training Facility."

Attendees should bring their favorite "Super Mom," aunt, grandma, adult sister or favorite female hero to be their teammate for fast-moving, action oriented events including races, table tennis, bowling and interactive games.

The event is a morning of friendly competition designed just for elementary age boys and their chosen adult female.

Superheroes are invited to attend in their superhero uniform or in their civilian alter-ego disguise.

The cost is $20 per dynamic duo (adult/child), and $5 for each additional child. Snacks will be available for purchase.
