Student achievements: The following information has been received from family or university sources.
Victoria Worthing of Woodbury has been accepted to the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has also received an academic scholarship, renewable for four years. To be eligible, a student must be in the top 25% of all applicants.
Following are students from the area who were graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie in December of 2008: Chris Kelton of Lake Elmo; Brooke Forsberg of St. Paul Park; and Lindsay Carrier and Matthew Holloway of Woodbury.
Joseph Blanchard, Katelyn Jorgensen, and Alexis Stoxen of Woodbury were named to the Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis. fall 2008 semester Dean's List.
Elise Porcher of Lake Elmo, and Jacquelyn Danner and Kate Novotny of Woodbury have been named to the fall semester Dean's List at the University of Minnesota, Morris. To be eligible for the list a student must have earned a grade point average of 3.67 for the semester.

The following students from Woodbury were named to the fall term Dean's List at Wartburg College, Waverly Iowa for having earned a 3.5 grade point average in at least four course credits for the term: Sarah Frazell, a senior at the college, and the daughter of Kevin and Teresa Frazell; Kristen Moravetz, a senior at the college, and the daughter of Robyn Moravetz.
Sharon Holte of Woodbury was named to the Dean's List at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City for the fall 2008 semester. She is a geology student at the school. To qualify for the list, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the semester.

Bola Toheeb Alabi of St. Paul Park was awarded a master of science degree in chemical and biological engineering.
Kelsi Beth Haugen of Woodbury graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Christian Ryan Sax of Woodbury was awarded a master of science degree in civil, construction, and environmental engineering.
The University of Wisconsin, Superior has named Nicholas Bursik of Woodbury to the Dean's List for academic achievement in the fall 2008 semester. To be named to the list, students must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average.
These area students have been named to the Academic High Honor and Academic Honor lists (Dean's Lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Students qualify for the High Honor list by achieving a 4.0, straight "A," average. Students earning a 3.5 to 3.99 grade point average qualify for the Honor list.

Allison Schweizer of Woodbury graduated from the University Of Minnesota, Duluth with a bachelors degree in marketing, with a minor degree in psychology.
Erik Erlandson, Hannah Marxhausen, Jessica Park, Daniel Ringgenberg, Erika Rotto and Kathleen Towell of Woodbury have been accepted for admission for the 2009-10 academic year at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa. Erlandson has been offered a Presidential Scholarship; Marxhausen, a Presidential Scholarship; Park, an Academic Achievement Award; Ringgenberg, a Presidential Scholarship; Rotto, an Academic Achievement Award; and Towell, a Regent Scholarship.
Melissa Clare Schisler of Woodbury has been named to the fall semester 2008 Dean's List at St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wis. for having achieved a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average.
