Woodbury boys basketball camp starts June 10

Register now with Community Education to attend the Woodbury Boys Basketball Camp from June 10-14 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. The camp is for players in grades 1-9 interested in playing basketball.

Woodbury Area Little League registration

The Woodbury Area Little League (in-house) player registration is now open. Registrations can be completed on-line at: http://www.waawoodbury.org. Registration costs are unchanged from last year. Woodbury United lacrosse spring registration for girls now open

Registration is now open for the Woodbury United girls lacrosse spring season. The two leagues are open to all fifth and sixth and seventh and eighth grade girls. Practices began this week. The Woodbury United lacrosse girls youth program strives to provide opportunities to discover, learn, participate and enjoy the passion and integrity of lacrosse.

Community Education summer sports camps

The South Washington County Schools Community Education summer sports camps and clinics for boys and girls in kindergarten through 12th grade start soon. Camps and clinics include: Strength and conditioning, basketball, soccer, football, folf, tennis, dodgeball, cheerleading, dance and physical education games for elementary age kids. Various Skyhawks Sports Camps are also available. The camps are offered by varsity coaches at all three high schools in District 833, are a great opportunity to learn fundamental sport skills and make new lasting friendship and are held at area high schools and middle schools throughout the district. The camps and clinics begin June 10 and run through Aug. 9. The costs range from $20-$150 per session. Financial assistance is available, so contact for details. The registration deadline is based on the start date of the specific camp. East Ridge girls basketball camps

The East Ridge High School girls basketball coaches are once again offering first class Elementary, Middle, and High School basketball camps for the girls of East Ridge. Young players will learn valuable fundamental skills as well as the beginning steps of competition and teamwork. Many game-like competitive drills and skills will be emphasized during camp. These are great opportunities for your girls to get in the gym and improve their game. City of Woodbury adult athletic leagues

The 2013 City of Woodbury summer adult athletic leagues are right around the corner and it's time to register your team. 2013 summer adult athletic league offerings include: Men's and CoRec Softball, CoRec Kickball, Men's and CoRec 5v5 Soccer, Yard Games League and 3-on-3 Basketball. PGA TOURAcademy Junior Camps coming to The Ponds at Battle Creek

The PGA TOURAcademy Junior Camps are offering summer camps at The Ponds at Battle Creek this summer with Brad Behnke as the head instructor.

TOURAcademy Junior Golf Programs feature: Fundamentals of the golf game-including basic swing technique and short game instruction, integration of the core values of the golf game-ranging from proper etiquette to good sportsmanship; values which can be useful both on and off the course; instruction on and around the golf course to familiarize juniors with real-world playing conditions and a small group environment to provide hands-on instruction and attention to each junior participant.
