Second-annual Braedon Hyland Foundation Golf Benefit July 23

The second-annual Braedon Hyland Foundation Golf Benefit is scheduled for a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Prestwick on July 23. The tournament will serve two purposes - to raise money for the foundation, and to bring those that were touched by Braedon together for a celebration of his life. Braedon was a senior at East Ridge High School when he died in a car accident in October of 2011. He was loved by many and left an impact on the community. He was a superb multi-sport athlete, but he loved hockey most of all. His family as started the Braedon Hyland Foundation to allow kids to afford the fees to play hockey, when they otherwise could not afford to play. Tickets for golf/dinner, or dinner only can be purchased at www.braedon23.com. There will be music to follow dinner. Be advised to get your foursomes early. This event sold out fast last year.
