The School District 833 South Washington Senior Center is hosting a trip to Mystic Lake Casino in January and to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater in February. Transportation is included.

The Mystic Lake trip will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13. The bus will pick up riders at 8:30 a.m. at the Senior Center, 8400 East Point Douglas Road South, Cottage Grove; 8:45 a.m. at Newport Lutheran Church, 900 15th Street; or 9 a.m. at Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place. Return will be at approximately 2:45 p.m. The cost is $7 for Center members; $10 for non-members.

The Wednesday, Feb. 10 trip to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater features the musical "Footloose" based on the movie of the same name and features songs including "Let's Hear It for the Boy," "Holding out for a Hero," "Almost Paradise" and "Footloose." The trip includes a meal at the theater.

The bus will pick up and drop off at the Senior Center, 8400 East Point Douglas Road South, Cottage Grove; Newport Lutheran Church, 900 15th Street; and Woodbury's Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place. Pick up begins at 10 a.m. at the Center, and drop off will be around 4:30 p.m. The cost is $72 for Center members and $75 for non-members.

Registration is due by Friday, Jan. 15. Register by calling the Center at (651) 458-6650.
