Did the "Jersey Shore" wash up on streets of Woodbury?

Perhaps so, according to a couple men who offered a unique description of their alleged assailants in an assault case. According to a Woodbury police report, a patron at Throwbacks said he was beat up July 23 by one of two men described as "Guidos" - a term popularized by the Italian-American members of the popular "Jersey Shore" cable television program.

The report states that the two suspects were at the bar and became loud. They then hopped the patio fence, where two other bar customers on the patio reportedly yelled at them for doing so.

One of the two patio customers told police that one of the fence-hoppers punched him in the face after the comments.

The two suspects were last seen headed toward the neighboring Red Roof Inn. Along the way, they allegedly beat up another man. That alleged victim also described his assailants as "Guidos."

That man "was unable to provide a further description other than muscular 'Guido' white guys," according to the report.

Police were unable to locate anyone matching the description. Neither victim wanted to press charges, the report states.
