After a scoreless opening frame, two unassisted second-period goals from forward Max Gaede provided all the offense the hosts would require for the win.

The Titans opened the third period with its lone score of the evening at 3:53 to pull within a tally at 2-1. However, forward Ty Nowicki promptly put Woodbury back up by two with a strike assisted by defender Walker Hyland and Gaede at 4:57. Hyland scored himself, assisted by Christian Turner, at 9:41 to conclude the offense on the evening.

Woodbury, ranked tenth in Class AA, advanced to the tournament final and will take on No. 2-ranked Minnetonka -- a 6-0 victor against Duluth Marshall in the early Friday game -- on Saturday night at Bielenberg.
