Richardson named publisher of Woodbury Bulletin
The Hastings Star Gazette, the Woodbury Bulletin, the South Washington County Bulletin in Cottage Grove and the Farmington-Rosemount Independent Town Pages named Chad Richardson as its publisher this week.
He will continue his duties as the editor in Hastings, a position he has held since 2007. He was previously the newspaper’s general manager and editor.
“For 18 years, Chad has shown that he’s someone we can count on,” said Steve Messick, the director of RiverTown Multimedia, a division of Forum Communications. “His new title better reflects the responsibilities that he has acquired over the past few years.”
Richardson graduated from Moorhead State University in 1995 with a degree in mass communications with a concentration in photojournalism. He worked for a year at the Pope County Tribune in Glenwood and then got a job at the Star Gazette in 1996 as a photographer and sports editor.
In 1999, the company that owned the Star Gazette purchased the papers in Farmington and Rosemount and Richardson was named their general manager. He worked there until 2007.
He lives in Hastings with his wife, Lisa, and their two children, Gabriel and Luciana.
