Preschoolers at Primrose School of Woodbury showed their parents and visitors how small the world can be last week.

The school held a cultural day Tuesday, Sept. 27, where students learned about 10 different countries from around the globe.

Each room at the school represented a different part of the world - from Antarctica to Norway, Mexico to Germany, Japan to Greece and Ireland to the Philippines.

Owner of the school Tonya Holt said teachers talked not only about the different countries, but they discussed each student's culture in the classroom that day, to show just how diverse the local community is.

"And we love to dress up," she said with a smile.

Each teacher dressed up in clothes that represented their heritage.

At the end of the day, parents visited the school to watch their kids sing "It's a Small World" and eat home-cooked snacks from different countries.
