Police were called Feb. 25 to the 11000 block of Traverse Circle for a beheaded rabbit found on a snowbank in a driveway. The complainant thought a newspaper delivery person might have been responsible for the kill in retaliation to neighbors’ complaints about the driver’s loud muffler. The woman noted that she also had not received her newspaper that day. Police noted that rabbit appeared to have been “feasted on by some predatory bird.”
