'Play'ful life lessons for teens

Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church will host the Skits Outreach Services teen acting troupe "SOS Players" Wednesday, March 11, 6:30 p.m. at the church, 7465 Steepleview Road, Woodbury, in performances for sixth through ninth grade students and their parents. The event is open to the public. A $3 - 5 donation per person is requested.

The troupe will perform skits dealing with issues such as depression, peer rejection, substance abuse, and violence. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their teen. For information about the event contact Amy Fuller at the church, (651) 738-2010.

Teen members of SOS Players live the life they teach to their peers through theatric presentations. Teens who understand the social issues of their generation form the core of SOS and they want to influence other teens to make good choices.
