Pawlenty reappoints Foley to MPCA citizens' board
Gov. Tim Pawlenty announced March 11 the reappointment of Dr. Daniel Foley of Woodbury to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) citizens' board.
Foley is vice president of medical affairs at Allina Hospitals & Clinics. He also serves as the medical director of Allina's United Hospital. Foley is board certified in family practice medicine, emergency medicine and medical toxicology.
He received a bachelor of science degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. and a medical doctor degree from the University of Parma, Italy. He completed a family practice residency at North Memorial Medical Center.
Pawlenty also reappointed Brian Bensen of St. Cloud, county administrator for Sherburne County, to the MPCA citizens' board on Wednesday.
Both are reappointed to four-year terms that expire Jan. 7, 2013.
