Man sentenced in Woodbury auto theft case

A man accused of leading Woodbury police on a foot chase after ditching a stolen vehicle was sentenced this month in Washington County District Court.

The Feb. 10 sentence calls for Dexter Jefferson Jr., 19, to spend 100 days in jail and spend five years on probation.

The St. Paul resident was convicted in October 2011 of receiving stolen property, a felony. A felony auto theft charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
