Letter: Bachmann antics tire reader
I grow increasingly tired of Rep. Michele Bachmann's partisan snipes that have no basis in fact or reality.
Now she is trying to somehow link President Obama to the swine flu, noting the "interesting coincidence" that the last outbreak of swine flu was in 1976 when (according to her) Jimmy Carter was President.
Well, Jimmy Carter didn't take office until January, 1977 -- so I guess Republican Gerald Ford will have to take the blame.
Unfortunately, he's no longer here to defend himself, so perhaps we should just put the whole matter to rest.
Come to think of it, maybe the best idea would be to elect a new representative to Congress -- one that won't continue to embarass Minnesota in the national media.
