The law for consumers
The Washington County Law Library is celebrating Law Day by offering a free public seminar entitled "Learn the Law with your Brown Bag Lunch" Friday, May 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the County Board Room at the Washington County Government Center, 14949 62nd Street North, Stillwater.
The program will include: Debt/Credit Relief, a presentation and information from attorney Sam Glover; Child Support and Custody, a viewpoint from Legal Assistance of Washington County, and the Washington County Attorney and Child Support Unit perspective; Scams & Consumer Fraud, presented by Bill Gosiger, a mediator from the Consumer Division of the Minnesota State Attorney General's Office; and Probate Issues: Getting Your Legal Documents in Order, a presentation by attorney Theresa M. Kowalski.
Coffee and cookies will be provided in the morning. No registration is needed and attendance is open door - people can come as they choose.
