Jimmy John's gas scammer turns up in Hudson
A scam artist asking for gas money appears to be operating in Hudson stores.
Saturday morning, April 12, a young white man dressed in a Jimmy John's cap and jacket approached a woman in the Walgreens store on Carmichael Drive, saying he had run out of gas and needed to get to work or he would lose his job.
The man said a gas station had refused to allow him to use a gas can without a $20 deposit. He said he didn't have $20 and asked the woman for the money. She complied.
