Heat advisory in effect for south Washington County
Temperatures in south Washington County and other parts of Minnesota will feel close to 105 degrees Tuesday, thanks to highs expected to climb into the mid-90s and high humidity levels, the National Weather Service warned this morning.
Washington County is included in a heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service that is in effect until 10 p.m. The advisory warns that Tuesday's soaring high temperatures could create conditions in which heat-related illnesses are likely.
It is recommended people stay out of the sun, stay in air conditioned rooms and drink plenty of fluids like water to combat Tuesday's oppressive heat.
