Hargis said a laptop computer was stolen from his office in the building at 7650 Currell Blvd. Also, Aleno Wellness Center, attorney Joel Monke and Fuller Dental Care reported thefts, according to Woodbury police.

In all, three laptop computers, an iPod, stamps and petty cash were stolen.

Four offices and a supply room were entered. One business reported nothing stolen.

Hargis said he was working in his office from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and nothing seemed out of the ordinary when he left.

Police suspect the building was entered sometime after 6 p.m. by someone with access to a master key. The building had no surveillance cameras, Hargis said.

"It just gets frustrating," he said. "It's a violation of space. It's inconvenient."

The building's locks have been changed. Police dusted for fingerprints Monday and said the thefts are under investigation.

Hargis said his laptop computer was for personal use and did not contain city information. Someone would have to know his password to use the computer, he said.
