Woodbury High School’s Give A Hand Receive A Smile group  held a hair donation event, Clip It For Kids, on May 23. During the event a total of 51 people donated a minimum of six inches of hair which will then be donated to the Locks of Love organization. Locks of Love makes wigs for cancer patients.

Amber Kispert-Smith

Amber Kispert-Smith has been the schools and Afton reporter at the Woodbury Bulletin since 2008. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota. She previously worked as a reporter for Press Publications in White Bear Lake.
