"Grief Share," a Christian grief recovery support group, begins Thursday, Sept. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1583 Radio Drive, Woodbury. The group is open to anyone in the congregation or the community.
Biblical Christ-centered teaching focusing on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one will be presented in a 13-week series featuring nationally respected grief experts on video, group discussion, and an opportunity to share how you are dealing with the death of your loved one.
According to organizers, the hope is that participants "experience comfort, understanding and encouragement from others who have also suffered a loss as together you learn about grief and start the journey from mourning to joy."
Confidentiality is part of the program. To register, call the church office at (651) 738-3110. The $15 registration fee covers all materials. Fee assistance is available. Contacts are Eunice Haagenstad (651) 731-0988, Bonnie Harma (651) 730-4741 and Dave Roseen (651) 337-0498.
