Four WHS students sign letters of intent
Four Woodbury High School student-athletes inked their intentions Wednesday to their colleges of choice.
Lauren Domski, Emily Moris, Amber Warzala and Morgan Worley all signed letters of intent during national signing day.
"This is what anyone who is in athletics really aspires to," said Principal Linda Plante, who introduced the student-athletes to a crowd of family and friends in attendance at Woodbury High School.
Domski will attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, for cross-country and track and field.
Three of the students will go on to play soccer: Moris, who will attend Minnesota State University-Mankato; Amber Warzala, who will attend St. Cloud State University; and Morgan Worley, who will attend the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
Domski said she has already met student-athletes and coaches at the U of M who she said have given her a warm reception.
"I'm just really excited to be at a new family at the U," she said.
Worley said she's eager to move up to the college ranks.
"It's a new chapter in life that I'm going to start," she said.
