Food shelf hires new executive director
The Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf has hired a new executive director.
The Christian Cupboard announced Monday that Kristin Kinney has been hired as the food shelf's new executive director.
Kinney began at the food shelf May 1.
Kinney replaces Christian Cupboard's first executive director, and founder, Dick Wolff who retired lat year.
Wolff died in January.
Kinney will be responsible for the general management of Christian Cupboard including operations, fundraising, public awareness and program development.
Kinney has previously worked at the Dakota County Community Development Agency, Ramsey County Workforce Solutions and Lifetrack Resources, Inc., a local non-profit agency serving local families in need.
Kinney has a bachelor's of arts in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a master's of science education counseling from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Kinney currently serves on the board of directors for the Annex Teen Clinic in Robbinsdale.
