The annual Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce awards gala was held Friday, Jan. 24, at the Prom Center, where a surprise performance took place, attendees participated in a silent auction and award recipients were recognized.

A coordinated flash mob performance, set to the Journey song “Don’t Stop Believin’” and orchestrated by Merrill Community Arts Center Director Michelle Witte, kicked off the awards ceremony.

Woodbury businessman Jack Lanners was named Citizen of the Year, Minuteman Press was awarded Business of the Year and Lake Middle School eighth-grade school counselor Robin Kazek received the Educator of the Year award.
