Fifth annual 10-Minute Play Festival returns to Lakeshore
Ten comedies will be presented this year at Lakeshore's fifth annual festival of short plays.
Last fall, novice and published playwrights from around the world submitted new works to the annual 10-minute play contest. Lakeshore picked the ten best for performance in the festival.
Winning plays for this year are all shades of comedies
Content varies. Some plays may not be suitable for younger audiences.
Audiences are invited to attend an opening night post show reception, June 4, to meet the actors.
After the Saturday, June 6 matinee, there will be a short artist discussion.
Limited "pay what you can" tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to show time, on Sunday, June 7 for the 7 p.m. show. Also that day, there will be a post-show discussion with the audience.
All performances are at Lakeshore Players Theatre, 4820 Stewart Avenue in downtown White Bear Lake.
Tickets are $10-$12 and may be reserved in advance by calling (651) 429-5674, with remaining seats sold at the door starting two hours prior to show time.
