Expo features community resources
South Washington County Early Childhood Community Connections will present the Early Childhood Resource Expo Saturday, March 8 at the South Washington County Service Center, 13000 Ravine Parkway South, Cottage Grove. The event is free.
The expo features activities for parents and children, birth to age 5 including finger plays, stories and fitness demonstration; breakout sessions for parents such as ideas for picky eaters and guidance for finding quality childcare; samples of ECFE programs; information about community resources for families; the Washington County Public Health Department conducting developmental screenings for children from birth to age 5; and much more. Events also include healthy snacks, giveaways, and door prizes.
