Run/walk daily passes cost $3 each, 10-visit punch cards are $20 each and annual passes are $45. All will be available for purchase at BSC beginning Monday, Aug. 18.

The punch card is valid until all punches are used. The annual pass is valid Sept. 1, 2014, through Aug. 31, 2015.

Guests purchasing an annual walk/run pass prior to Sept. 1 will be allowed free access to walk/run programs for the remainder of August.

Rental of the field house will begin in September for all field uses. Groups interested in renting time should call BSC at (651) 714-3740 or send an email to Dave Black, BSC manager, at dblack@ci.woodbury.mn.us.

Additionally, the lobby and concessions opened earlier this month for general use during a weekend hockey tournament.

The public can now utilize viewing areas on both levels and concessions on the main level.

Patrons are now able to enter the facility through the main doors on the west side.

The rest of the construction on the BSC complex continues with the outdoor splash pad water feature and outdoor refrigerated recreational skating rink. Both are expected to be completed in early fall. The outdoor skating rink will open in November and the splash pad will open in 2015.

Construction of Madison’s Place playground, to be located adjacent to the splash pad, is likely to be delayed until 2015, as the Madison Claire Foundation continues its fundraising efforts.

A community open house is planned for Saturday, Sept. 20, to celebrate the opening of the expanded facility.
