After winning its first game of the year two weeks ago, the East Ridge girls hockey team's strong start hit a snag last week with back-to-back non-conference losses to Section 3AA foes.

East Ridge (1-2) fell 3-0 at Apple Valley on Tuesday, Nov. 15, and 6-0 to 17th-ranked Eagan on Thursday, Nov. 17, in Eagan. Apple Valley improved to 4-1 with the win, while Eagan stayed unbeaten at 4-0.

The Raptors took on North St. Paul and fourth-ranked Roseville after the Bulletin went to press. The game against Roseville was East Ridge's first Suburban East Conference game of the season.

Next, East Ridge plays host to No. 7-ranked Stillwater (2-0) on Monday, Nov. 28, at Bielenberg Sports Complex.
