Email News Alerts

The Woodbury and East Ridge high school cheer teams put rivalries aside and worked together with the Salvation Army to collect coats for those in need with its Unite the Night coat drive during the East Ridge versus Woodbury varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 13, at Woodbury High School. Clothes go to the Salvation Army’s annual “Coats for Kids” program that serves thousands of children in the twin cities area. The Unite the Night coat drive is a way to bring the fans together to work for a common goal to help others in need. The cheer teams have supported this cause for several years, with each year bringing in more coats. The teams are excited to see the community come together to support one another and the Salvation Army.
