Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Woodbury, Minnesota, in the City Hall at 8301 Valley Creek Road until 1 P.M., C.D.S.T., on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:

East Ridge Regional Storm Water Pond (CD-P74.1) Outlet Improvements (City Project No. 28-2007-01)

In general, Work consists of the following approximate quantities:

2,500 LF 30" - 48" RCP Storm Sewer

175 LF 12" PVC Storm Sewer

12 EA 4' - 6' Diameter Storm Sewer Structure

2 EA 5' Diameter Storm Sewer Structure with Sluice Gate

300 SY Patch Bituminous Street

250 SY Patch Gravel Street

200 LF Remove and Replace Concrete Curb and Gutter

500 CY Topsoil Borrow

5 AC Seeding and Mulch

5,000 SY Seeding and Erosion Control Blanket

1,750 SY Sodding

Together with all correlated work and appurtenances.

Bidders desiring a copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them from the Issuing Office of Bonestroo, 2335 Highway 36 West, St. Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50. Bidding Documents may be seen at the office of the City of Woodbury and at the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents can also be purchased with a credit card over the internet at www.bonestroo.com.

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
