The plot thickens right from the start when an upper class gentleman disappears and a game of cat and mouse begins. Complete with disguises, mixed-up identities, bumbling policemen, overdone characters, and witty repartee -- there's never a dull moment in this fun, quirky play.

Directed by Lakeshore veteran Brian Sherman, the cast includes Janan Terpstra of Hudson, Wis., Will Vincent of Hugo, D.W. Surine of Little Canada, Berit Mueller of Minneapolis, Julie Bohn of Shoreview and Joe Hendren of Spring Lake Park.

The show runs Jan. 16 through Feb. 8 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Audiences are invited to attend a post show reception on opening night, Jan. 16, to meet the actors.

Limited "pay what you can" tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to show time, on Sunday, Jan. 18 for the 2 p.m. show. Also that day, there will be a post-show discussion with the audience. The Sunday, Jan. 25 show at 2 p.m. will be ASL-interpreted.

All performances are at Lakeshore Players Theatre, 4820 Stewart Avenue in downtown White Bear Lake.

Tickets are $18 to $20 and may be reserved in advance by calling (651) 429-5674, with remaining seats sold at the door starting two hours prior to show time.
