Title: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURY, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA PROVIDING THAT THE CITY CODE BE AMENDED BY AMENDING CHAPTER 6, BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE V - PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, SECTIONS 6-202 AND 6-203 AND AMENDING CHAPTER 15, NUISANCES, SECTIONS 15-2 AND 15-5.
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 1800
Ordinance 1800 adopts the International Code Council 2006 Property Maintenance Code by reference. The code establishes minimum standards for premises, structures, equipment, and facilities for light, ventilation, space heating, sanitation, protection from the elements, safety from fire and other hazards and maintenance. The code also establishes the responsibility of owners, operators and occupants and provides for administration, enforcement and penalties. In addition graffiti, odors, smoke and weeds are clarified as nuisances.
Please note: This title and "summary of amendments to Chapter 6, Buildings and Building Regulations, Article V - Property Maintenance, Sections 6-202 and 6-203 and amending Chapter 15, Nuisances, Sections 15-2 and 15-5" clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance and conforms with Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191 and Section 331a.01, Subd. 10
