NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that King of Kings Lutheran Church has submitted an application for a Conditional Use Permit. The applicant is requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow construction of a columbarium on the west exterior wall of the existing building as an accessory use to a place of worship. A columbarium is a solidified structure that is used to store the cremated ashes of the deceased. The property is located at 1583 Radio Drive. The property is zoned R-4, Urban Residential and is guided as Public/Semi Public on the Land Use Plan.
The application includes the following described real estate lying and being in the City of Woodbury, County of Washington, State of Minnesota to wit:
The south 330 feet of the north 660 feet of the west ½ of the west ½ of the southeast ¼ of Section 9, Township 28, Range 21, lying east of Washington County Highway right-of-way Plat No. 27, Washington County, Minnesota. Except the south 80 feet of the north 700 feet of the west ½ of the west ½ of the southeast ¼ of Section 9, Township 28, Range 21, lying east of Washington County Highway right-of-way Plat No. 27. And, the north 330 feet of the west ½ of the west ½ of the southeast ¼ of Section 9, Township 28 north, Range 21 west, except Parcel 29A of Washington County right-of-way Plat No. 27, Washington County, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
