Cheese class at Kowalski's
Take your knowledge of cheese to a new level by learning how to make mozzarella and burrata from scratch.
Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella while the inside contains both mozzarella and cream, giving it a unique soft texture. The class will be taught by Jill Foster, an in-house cheese specialist at Kowalski's Market.
"We are excited to offer a series of classes to help people learn about the wide variety of local and imported cheeses," said Kris Kowalski Christiansen, chief operating officer, Kowalski's Markets.
The mozzarella and burrata class will be held Monday, June 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The class is free, but space is limited to 25 at Kowalski's Woodbury Market in the "Next Level" classroom space. Register by calling (651) 578-8800.
