Camp offers fun at Carver

The city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department "Camp Carver" for children ages 6 - 12 is offered in weeklong day-camp sessions throughout the summer at Carver Lake Park, 3175 Century Avenue South, Woodbury.

Participants may be enrolled Monday through Friday in either the half-day morning program from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with pick up from 11:30 a.m. to noon; or the daylong program from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with pick up from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Children will bring their own lunch.

According to information provided by the city "all your favorite summer programs are wrapped into one; daily swimming/water fun, special events, team challenges, nature exploration, arts and crafts, special guests and lots of games."

The cost is $41 for the morning only session, or $119 for the daylong session. Early drop off from 7:45 to 9 a.m. is available for $15 for the week. Campers may purchase a Camp Carver T-Shirt for $8.
