A five-game losing streak and having never won at Cottage Grove Ice Arena against East Ridge didn’t faze the Woodbury boys hockey team on Saturday as it ended a four-year winless streak with a 1-0 victory over the Raptors.

The Royals beat intra-district and Suburban East Conference rival East Ridge in dramatic fashion with Jack Glaeser scoring the game winner with 30 seconds left to play. The last time Woodbury beat fellow Woodbury-based East Ridge came on Dec. 18, 2010.
