Ball game helps Woodbury ball field

The Rotary Club of Woodbury, the city of Woodbury, Minnesota Utility Contractors Association and Miracle League of Minnesota are raising money and awareness for the East Metro Miracle League field in Woodbury by offering tickets to the Monday, July 27 Minnesota versus White Sox game. Tickets for the game are $22 per person for upper club seats. Ten dollars from every ticket sold will help fund construction of the specially designed rubber turf field to be located alongside other baseball diamonds in the Bielenburg Sports Complex and will serve the entire East Metro area.

The Jeff Hanson Miracle Field will provide children between the ages of 3 - 19 with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. To order tickets for the game, print off an order form at www.woodburymnrotary.org or www.ci.woodbury.mn.us, Community Events, City sponsored Events. Order forms are also available at the information desk at Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury, and in the lobby of Woodbury's city hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.

Personalized pavers for areas around the Miracle Field may also be purchased to help fund construction of the field. Information about the pavers may also be found at the Rotary website.
