Are salamanders slimy?

A naturalist from the Dodge Nature Center will present "Make Room for Salamanders" at the city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department's Nature in the Park event Tuesday, July 14, from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. at Kargel Park, 9301 Tamarack Road in Woodbury.

Families with children ages 3 - 10 are invited to meet the odd looking creatures, find out whether they really are slimy, learn what they eat and the things they do to survive in the wild.

The cost is $6 per child. Register online at www.ci.woodbury.mn.us for activity #55092-07. Registration may also be made in person at Woodbury Parks and Recreation, 8301 Valley Creek Road, or by mail or fax.
