2010 governor election shows stark contrast

Email

ST. PAUL -- Dreams of 1994 dance in Republicans' heads while Democrats dream of getting one of their own in the governor's office for the first time since Jan. 7, 1991.

And Independence Party members dream of returning to their glory days when Jesse Ventura shocked the world.

The dream can come true for just one candidate, while millions of dollars and months of campaigning will seem more like nightmares for the other two.
