Master Gardeners offer free gardening program at Woodbury City Hall
Area homeowners are invited to a free gardening program from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Woodbury City Hall, Radio Drive and Valley Creek Road.
The doors will open at 8 a.m., with welcome and introductions from 8:3-8:45 a.m. followed by three sessions:
- Sam Bauer will discuss “Irrigation considerations for healthy lawns and water savings” from 8:45-9:45 a.m.;
- Julie Weisenhorn will consider “Landscaping for Pollinators” from 10-11 a.m.; and
- Angie Hong will talk about rain gardens from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
The program is cosponsored by Master Gardeners in Washington County, the city of Woodbury and the Woodbury-Cottage Grove area League of Women Voters.
