Nékter Juice Bar will celebrate the grand opening of its Woodbury location — the chain's first restaurant in Minnesota — Saturday, July 28, with free 16-ounce fresh juices and Superfood Smoothies from 8 a.m. to noon. There is a limit of one juice or smoothie per person. During the celebration, the first 100 guests will receive Nékter swag bags. There will be samples, family entertainment and prizes, plus giveaways from wellness partners Pure Barre and Title Boxing Club.
The grand opening will benefit Animal Humane Society with a portion of the day's proceeds supporting the non-profit organization's mission to engage the hearts, hands and minds of the community to help animals, and to compassionately and responsibility create a more humane world for animals.
Locally owned and operated by Kris Willy and Miranda Carlson, the new Nékter Juice Bar is located at 1605 Queens Drive in Woodbury Village Center off I-94 and Valley Creek Road. The duo plans to open five Nékter Juice Bars in the area during the next few years.
"The day is finally here when we can celebrate our first Nékter Juice Bar in Minnesota in our hometown of Woodbury," said Willy. "We couldn't' think of a better way to introduce our neighbors to Nékter's delicious, nutrient-rich, fresh and clean menu than with free juice and Superfood smoothies during our grand opening. We invite the entire community to join us and enjoy some great family fun and giveaways too."
Nékter's menu offerings can be customized to suit individual diet or lifestyle preferences, such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, low-fat, and low-sugar. Nékter also offers a variety of Grab N' Go healthy snacks and cold-pressed bottled juices in a variety of flavors, in addition to Skoop, a freshly made vegan ice cream that is made with clean ingredients, and free of refined sugars and preservatives.
